Meditation
Meditation is a state of deep peace that occurs when the mind is calm and silent. Meditation can be an effective form of stress reduction and has the potential to improve quality of life and decrease health care costs. Meditation involves achieving a state of ‘thoughtless awareness’ in which the excessive stress producing activity of the mind is neutralized without reducing alertness and effectiveness.
Some of the benefits of regular practice of meditation include – improved sleep, increased physical energy, increased motivation, clarity of thought, decreased stress, a sense of calm and peacefulness, greater self-confidence ,improved self-esteem, physical mental and emotional wellbeing, improvements in general health and assists in the treatment of illness and disease in particular Diabetes, Anxiety, Blood pressure. All Meditation classes are non-religious and workshops are accredited.
