Meditation and Stress Management Workshop:

This workshop runs one evening per week for 6 consecutive weeks and consists of a theory component, various meditation styles, as well as teaching students how to recognise triggers that their mental or physical bodies are beginning to absorb stress. This is an informative workshop – not just a class.

A great proportion of  this workshop is allocated to understanding the physiological, physical and spiritual elements of both meditation and stress . Once this insight has been gained, students are able to employ the teachings of various styles of meditation and successfully adapt an empowered attitude to self and all that can be achieved via meditation.

Other areas  covered in this Workshop are the Conscious and Subconscious minds, The Fight Or Flight Response, Perspective, Stress Management, Mindfulness, Correct breathing Techniques, The Power of Positive Affirmations, Progressive Relaxation and several tools and techniques to assist with quieting the mind and coping better under stress. This is a certified workshop and a certificate of completion is issues on the completion of week 6. Intake is approximately six weekly and includes 10 hours of tuition as well as weekly mentoring in-between classes.

Cost is $175 for six weeks – only $29.15 per hour and a half workshop class .
